Jack Creasy Design is a comprehensive design studio that addresses design at every stage, from the ground up. Our favorite projects start with architectural planning and extend to the final flourish of a decor pillow, and we manage everything in between. This includes working with our Creative Director, keeping your contractors/builders on pace, assisting with color selections, designing custom furnishings, fine art advisory, and space planning.

Every project starts with a design consultation. Whether you’re looking to get our expert advice on a few design questions or you’re about to embark on a renovation/remodel project or building your dream home, a design consultation is the place to start. During our 20min complimentary consultation about a new renovation or home build project, we will guide you through our design process, answer any questions you may have, followed by our fee proposal and the next steps for us to begin working together on your project! Alternatively, if you have a few pressing design questions - maybe you need a second opinion or an expert spatial and furniture layout review of your architectural plans - we’re here to help! We recommend booking either a 1-hour or 90-minute consultation depending on the scope and time required to answer your design questions.

Our High Level Design Concept service provides our clients with moodboards for the overall Design vision, including inspiration finishes and fixtures. Our Interior Design Drawings package includes Millwork Drawings for custom cabinetry and built-ins; Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) Drawings for ceiling details such as electrical wiring and light fixtures; Flooring & Tile Layout Drawings for flooring and tile patterns; and Space Plan Drawings for furniture placement and layout.

This service is offered in addition to the High Level Design Concept service in order to complete your experience with JCD by providing support with the procurement, execution, and installation of your newly designed spaces. This includes a detailed Design Concept package which provides our clients with mood boards for the overall Design vision, including inspiration finishes and fixtures. This service also includes detailed Fixtures & Finishes specifications providing information regarding the materials, fixtures and finishes required to complete the vision for your new space. We curate all the key components for your project including wall, floor, ceiling, cabinetry and countertop finishes as well as plumbing fixtures and bathroom accessories,lighting fixtures, furniture, rugs, decor and accessories. Our Interior Design Drawings package includes Millwork Drawings for custom cabinetry and built-ins; Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) Drawings for ceiling details such as electrical wiring and light fixtures; Flooring & Tile Layout Drawings for flooring and tile patterns; and Space Plan Drawings for furniture placement and layout. Our Procurement process begins with detailed quotes that outline all of the products and services we recommend for your project. Once you’ve approved the quotes, we’ll place orders and coordinate all logistics, including delivery to your job site when it should be there. Throughout the process, we’ll keep the project organized and ensure that your project stays on track and on-time. Our Design Execution services is designed to ensure that your project is completed with the highest level of quality and attention to detail. We’ll schedule regular job site meetings to ensure that everything is on track and that any issues are addressed promptly with all vendors involved on your project. Our Design Management team will work closely with you to ensure that the space we’ve designed for you is executed as envisioned.
4. SOFT FURNISHINGS & DECOR

This service includes fully sourced and specified soft furnishings & decor for in-scope spaces as well as complete procurement, logistics and installation management and coordination.

FAQs
DO YOU WORK ONLY IN TORONTO? No, although a lot of our projects are in and around the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA), we do take on projects outside of the GTHA, including other provinces and internationally. If you're located outside of the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area, contact us to discuss your project further.
HOW MUCH DOES A DESIGNER COST? A designer's fee depends on the scope of the project. However, a good industry benchmark for design fees is to allow 10-15% of your total project budget. This budget is made up of all costs associated with your project, including construction costs. After our initial consultation, we will provide you with a design proposal for our services for your project based on the scope discussed during your initial consultation. During the design proposal presentation, we will explain our process and our fee schedule for your project. Then, if you wish to proceed with hiring Jack Creasy Design, we will require a retainer to secure our services and commence your project.
WHEN DO I HIRE A DESIGNER It's best to hire a designer for your new project before you begin any design planning, architectural drawings, and definitely before you begin the project! We work closely with the architect, builder/contractor and our industry partners to approach your design with a holistic plan from day 1. Renovating? ….We recommend hiring Jack Creasy Design before starting any demo or pre-work. Building a new home? …. We recommend hiring Jack Creasy Design before you have your first draft set of architectural plans from your architect, or even before enlisting an architect.
